Having trained at The Royal Ballet School in London, Dame Darcey Bussel DBE was Principle ballerina at The Royal Ballet for 20 years, retiring in 2007. She was the greatest British ballerina of her generation. Her achievements beyond the stage have been just as remarkable.

In this lovely publication each image is brought to life with behind-the-scenes stories and personal anecdotes written by Darcey herself. A fitting testament to one of our true national treasures, this richly illustrated book is a celebration of one of the world’s most beloved ballerinas.
